3 Days Nyungwe Chimpanzee Tracking Tour

Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

Depending on your location in Kigali, you will be met by our safari guide and embark on your journey to Nyungwe forest national park which is a 6-7 hours’ drive from Kigali with en-route visit of the Rwanda national museum, Nyanzi King’s palace and lunch. Proceed to Nyungwe forest national park, check-in your booked lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay at Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel for mid-range option, Gisakura Visitors’ Centre for a budget option

Day 2: Isumo waterfalls hike & Canopy Walk

After breakfast, you will embark on the forest hike with in the park, which will enable you to explore the Park’s unique tourist features including waterfalls and orchids in the high altitude swamps. Return for lunch at lodge.

Later afternoon, connect for the 2 pm canopy walk experience. You will go on a walking trail that will take you to the Canopy Walk a swing bridge 50 meters in length that is suspended from large trees; you will be able to see the amazing rainforest with a bird’s eye view, spotting wildlife moving below you.

Day 3: Return to Kigali

Have breakfast, check-out of the lodge and embark the journey back to Kigali with lunch en-route and optional visit of the Rwanda genocide and cultural sites as you transfer back to Kigali.

End of 3 Days Nyungwe forest national park safari.
