3 Days Akagera National Park
Day 1: Transfer to Akagera national park – evening game drive
Depending on your location in Kigali city, you will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and transferred to Akagera National park which is about 2.5 hours. En route through the country’s remarkable landscape with views of the country’s beauty and also the life style of its people
Upon arrival in the park early afternoon, you will proceed to check in and have lunch. After lunch, explore some of the animals at the game in a game drive. Expect animals like the elephants, rhinos and different antelope species. Dinner and overnight stay at Akagera Game lodge
Day 2: Morning game drive and boat ride at Lake Ihema.
Wake up early, enjoy breakfast and go for a game drive in search of animals like Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, lions and several antelope species and introduced Rhinos. Return for lunch at the lodge then later afternoon, you will go for a boat ride on Lake Ihema which will offer you great views of the surrounding areas; hills and swamps. Expect to see Hippos, crocodiles and more bird species. Dinner and overnight at Akagera game lodge as above
Boat Cruise
Day 3; Return to Kigali
After breakfast at the lodge, drive out of the park to connect back to Kigali. You will be dropped off as you will advise.
